The Inuit

The Inuit were a tribe that lived in Alaska arctic.

The Inuit had a lot in common with another tribe called the Aleut.

They lived in a dome shaped houses made out of sod or timber (or at least most of them).

They spoke in a language called Eskimo Aleut (the Aleut spoke the same language no surprise there).

They used seal and otter skin to make water proof clothing.

The Tsattine

The Tsattine lived in Alaska like the Inuit but the Tsattine lived in the sub arctic.

They were Athabaskan speakers.

It was hard to move in the sub arctic so they used toboggans snow shoes and light weight canoes .

They lived in small easy to move tents.
